Hypnosis for Trauma and PTSD
Portrait of Young Man

When a trauma occurs we react with all the natural skill and genius our minds and bodies possess. We instinctively go into survival mode which is often the difference between life and death.

Sometimes though, the memory of the traumatic event can become 'stuck' or 'frozen' inside us. When faced with certain experiences (sights, sounds, smells, words, and people) we are 'triggered' so that the original survival response kicks in without our permission.

In hypnosis, we safely and gently tend to the old trauma and wounds. With love and patience we release the fear and the pain. With the help of newly discovered inner strength and resources, we are able to create new responses that free us from the rigid patterns that used to bind us.
